Samantha Moore

Samantha Moore began playing the flute at an early age, performing a concerto with a local orchestra at the age of only 11. She was also a member of the National Youth Orchestra. In 1992 she won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music and subsequently the Senior Exhibitioner Scholarship. Her flute professors have included Hilary Finzi, Kate Hill, David Butt, Susan Milan, James Galway, Peter Lloyd, Paul Edmund-Davies and Michael Cox.
Since graduating in 1996 from the Royal College of Music Samantha has been much in demand as both a performer and teacher of the flute, alto flute and piccolo. Presently she is a member of Trio Dolce and Chamberhouse Winds. Samantha also regularly plays for numerous opera companies, symphony orchestras and other chamber groups. She has given numerous solo recitals and has performed many of the major flute concerti with local and national orchestras.
Samantha's chamber playing has included recitals for HRH the Prince of Wales at Highgrove, Princess Michael of Kent at Kensington Palace as well as for various concert halls and music clubs both in the United Kingdom and abroad.
